How do I get started?
You may email me via the website or you may call me at 727-459-9506. You will receive a brief phone consultation to discuss your individual needs and to allow me to obtain your information and answer any questions you may have prior to scheduling a session. If insurance will be utilized that information will be obtained and benefits will be verified prior to your first appointment.

Do you accept insurance?
Yes, I am in network with many major insurance companies and EAP panels. It may also be helpful for you to contact your insurance as each policy varies in terms of benefits, deductibles and co-payments. You will be responsible for any co-payments or annual deductibles. Checks , Credit Cards, Health FSA and Cash accepted. Payment is required at the time of services Additionally, in some circumstances a sliding scale for self pay patients may be available. What should I expect in the first session?
The first session will be different than future sessions. Your first session will last approximately an hour and follow up sessions approximately 45-55 minutes depending upon your clinical needs.. The initial session will focus on obtaining a comprehensive history, assessing your specific problems, concerns and needs and developing the initial treatment plan with recommendations. Our work together will be a collaborative process and one of the most important aspects of therapy is developing a trusting therapeutic relationship. I feel honored that you are trusting me and it is important that when seeking psychotherapy that you feel safe and comfortable.

Can I reschedule my appointment?
Yes,The practice has a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you do not cancel within this time frame, you will be responsible for the session fee. This is a standard psychotherapy practice.
